Claude on desktop and mobile

The official Claude apps are the normal way to work with a Podbay pod. Podbay runs Claude Code in the cloud and connects that session through Claude Remote Control after you sign in.

What this gives you

• Start a task from Claude on desktop.
• Close the laptop while the pod keeps its workspace and services.
• Check in or continue the same pod session from Claude on mobile.
• Return later to the existing project, tools, and working state instead of preparing your machine again.

Your phone or laptop is the interface; it is not where the project runs. Builds, databases, services, and scheduled work use the pod's resources.

Open the pod's session

From the Podbay dashboard, open the pod and choose Continue in Claude or Open in Claude. If Claude has not been connected on that pod yet, Podbay guides you through the one-time sign-in first.

Suspending a pod stops the active session and its background work. The workspace and Claude login remain stored; resume the pod before opening it from Claude again.

What happens while you are away

A running pod can keep declared application services available and perform scheduled agent work even when the Claude app is closed. An ordinary interactive request does not automatically become a background job, so tell Claude when something should continue or run again later.

Keep the app and worker running after we finish this conversation. If either one fails, bring it back and leave enough information to diagnose the failure.

Run this report every Friday at 16:00 Europe/Paris and keep the result in the project.

When to open Podbay

Use the dashboard for machine-level decisions: adding secrets, changing preview visibility, inspecting health and resources, updating, suspending, or deleting a pod. The browser terminal is available when direct shell access is useful for diagnosis or recovery.
