Podbay documentation

Learn what Claude can accomplish with a persistent cloud computer and how to stay in control of the work.

Podbay gives Claude a computer of its own: a private cloud workspace with your project, tools, data, and running services. You work from the official Claude desktop or mobile app. The pod keeps the workspace available when the conversation pauses or your laptop closes.

Start with the result you want. Claude handles the machinery inside the pod.

How to think about Podbay

You talk to Claude. Claude works inside the pod. Podbay keeps the computer and its supporting pieces available.

You should not need to operate the machine day to day. Ask Claude for an outcome such as:

Get this project running with its database and worker. Verify the main flow and send me a private link when it is ready.

Every weekday morning, check these sources and update the brief. Tell me only when something meaningfully changed.

Ask my documentation pod whether this feature is covered. Bring back its answer, but do not publish anything.

Use the Podbay dashboard when you want to add secrets, change preview access, inspect health and resources, update the pod, or suspend it.

Private alpha

Podbay is evolving quickly. The docs call out important limits and features that depend on a particular environment or deployment. When the live pod differs from a page, ask Claude to check the pod's current capabilities before it acts.
